South Asian land units

The standard survey values used in Bangladesh and West Bengal. Almost no international converter carries these, and the units genuinely differ by region — a bigha in Uttar Pradesh is not this bigha.

Temperature, which is not a multiplication

Celsius to Fahrenheit
°F = °C × 9/5 + 32
25 °C = 77 °F
Fahrenheit to Celsius
°C = (°F − 32) × 5/9
98.6 °F = 37 °C
Celsius to Kelvin
K = °C + 273.15
25 °C = 298.15 K

Temperature scales have different zero points, so they convert with an offset rather than a factor. This is why doubling 20 °C does not give 40 °C worth of heat.

Questions

Why are bigha and katha included?
Because land in South Asia is measured in them, and most converters ignore it. They are here alongside acres and hectares so you do not need a second tool.
How precise is it?
Enough decimal places to be useful without pretending to a precision the input does not have. Regional land units genuinely vary by district, so treat those as an approximation.
Does it know South Asian land units?
Yes — katha, bigha, decimal, kanal and marla alongside acres and hectares, at the standard survey values used in Bangladesh and West Bengal. Almost no international converter includes them.
Why do bigha values differ from other sites?
Because bigha genuinely varies by region. This uses 14,400 square feet, the Bangladesh and West Bengal value. Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan use different ones.
