How to sign pdf
- Choose the document you need to sign.
- Draw your signature with a finger or mouse, or type one and pick a style.
- Place it on the page, size it, and press Save.
Questions
- Is this a legally binding signature?
- It is an electronic signature — an image of your mark placed on the page — which is accepted for most everyday agreements in the EU, UK and US. It is not a cryptographic digital signature with a certificate, which is what some regulated processes require.
- Does my signature get stored anywhere?
- No. It exists in this browser tab and is written into your PDF. Nothing is uploaded and nothing is kept after you close the page.
- Can I sign on my phone?
- Yes, and drawing with a finger usually gives a better result than a mouse.
