How to grammar check
- Paste or type your text. Checking starts as you stop typing.
- Read each suggestion with its explanation.
- Apply the ones you agree with, one at a time.
Questions
- Does my writing get sent somewhere?
- Yes — checking grammar needs a language engine, and this uses the public LanguageTool service. Do not paste anything confidential. An administrator can point it at a self-hosted server instead.
- Why does it flag correct sentences?
- Style rules are suggestions, not errors. Deliberate fragments and technical terms often get marked — that is why nothing is applied automatically.
