Questions

Why does the script matter?
Because Latin filler lies to you about non-Latin layouts. Bengali and Devanagari are taller and need more line height; Arabic runs right to left. Testing a design with the wrong script hides the problems until real content arrives.
Is the text meaningful?
No, deliberately. Placeholder text should not be readable, or people review the words instead of the layout.
