Questions
- Why word level rather than line level?
- A line-level diff marks an entire paragraph as changed when one word moved. Word level shows you the word, which is usually the thing you were actually looking for.
- Can it compare scans?
- Only if both have a text layer. Run OCR PDF over each first, and bear in mind OCR errors will show up as differences.
