Using the tools

The 59 tools here are free to use for personal and commercial work. You do not need an account, and there is no limit on how many files you process with the browser-side tools. You keep every right to the documents you put through them — we claim nothing.

What you may not do

• Process files you have no right to process.
• Use the tools to build or distribute malware, or to strip protection from a document you do not own.
• Use the URL shortener for phishing, malware, or anything deceptive. Links are screened, and abusive ones are removed.
• Automate the site at a rate that degrades it for other people, or work around the rate limits.
• Resell access to this site as though it were your own service.

We may block access that breaks these rules, and we may remove a short link at any time without notice.

No warranty

The tools are provided as they are. We work hard to make them correct, but file formats are messy and conversions are imperfect. Always keep your original file. Check the output before you rely on it — especially page counts, numbers and names after OCR, and layout after a conversion.

We are not liable for lost documents, incorrect output, or any loss that follows from using the site. Because 48 of the tools run entirely in your browser, we could not recover a file for you even if you asked — we never had it.

Availability

There is no uptime guarantee. Tools can be switched off, changed or retired. A tool that depends on a service we run may be unavailable while that service is down, and the page will say so rather than failing silently.

Paid plans

Where a paid plan is offered, the price, billing period and what it includes are shown on the pricing page before you buy. Browser-side tools stay free regardless of plan.

Your own API keys

If you paste an API key into Settings, it is stored in your browser and used to call that provider directly. You are responsible for what that provider charges you and for keeping the key safe. Clearing your browser data removes it.

Changes

These terms can change. The date at the top reflects the last revision, and continuing to use the site means accepting the current version.
